Fertilization can be found in scan at 4-5 week pregnancy?

Pregnancy can be found in a blood or urine test at 4-5 weeks of pregnancy, but not in an ultrasound if that is what you meant. I recently went to the ER for what turned out to be my appendix and they found that I was 3 weeks and 5 days pregnant. They did an ultrasound to diagnose my appendix and when I asked the technician she said that they can't see that your pregnant until your 6-8 weeks pregnant.
