Help Job at body shop?

alright i am wondering if i can go to a body shop or something and ask if i can be any extra help there like picking up trash and cleaning up i am taking GED cles and thats like 2 days of ther week so i need a job aftr my GED is done i plan on going to a tech college for body n collison n paint so i was wondering if it would be right to show up to a body shop and ask if i could help out there what woul be the right thing to say?? i also wanna work there to somewhat catch on !HELP
