Is the tacit acceptance of euthanasia and abortion in health "reform" inconsistent with Mengele's philosophy?

The approval for abortion is one I agree with because most of the people who go for abortion can't raise the child, so they decide to kill it instead of torturing it while it is an infant because the mother can't afford to feed it. The same goes for euthanasia. Torture is far worse than murder because you cannot feel pain when you're dead. The main difference between modern day US and the Nazis is that the US's stance on abortion and euthanasia is to reduce the amount of pain felt by the one affected, not increase it.
