Is Obama about to discredit himself for promoting a green agenda that includes global warming?

the last recorded global increase in temperature was about 10 yrs ago and it is less than 1 degree. On top of that now we have the hackers who obtained emails that showed that scientists cooked the books to promote global warming. The last two years are showing record cold temperatures so far. Congress wants an investigation into the climate-gate going on.
