68W N9 school information?

my unit asked me if i was interested in going to physical therapy school. the person in my unit who holds this MOS is getting out and they want me to fill the slot. i've been a 68W for over 5 years now so all i'd have to do is the N9 (physical therapy) school. i'm looking for any information possible to help me make the decision if i wanna go or not. some of my main questions are - how long is the training? (heard it's 27 weeks) is it transferrable to civilian side? do they treat you like you're back at BCT and AIT all over again? (i did that once, don't really wanna do it again). thanks for your help!
