Who is the hero in the movie Law Abiding Citizen?

difficult to say, as i can't decide who the protagonist is, i like shelton but he could be the antagonist here i just don't really know. i mean.. rice looked like the protagonist, but i was rooting for shelton all the way, i'm torn here
