Will the ib program help in a small private college?

I know someone who is considering doing the ib program, be we cannot find whether or not it would be helpful scholarship-wise in a small private college, such as Olivet Nazarene University, Spring Arbor University, or Mount Vernon Nazarene University. I would prefer honest opinions, facts, and/or links if possible. Thanks!
